Recently I have been unable to document my painterly endeavors with the frequency I desire. However, upon the cessation of the fall semester, I seized the opportunity to devote myself to the canvas once more. During this period of intense productivity, a piece emerged, a testament to my fascination with the separation of color fields and the imperfect divisions that arise therein. The red hue, a common fixture in my work, features prominently here, imbuing the piece with positive connotations. This particular work arose during a time of solitude, a period of detachment from my loved ones as they tended to familial obligations elsewhere. Yet from this disconnection, a creative flame was ignited, birthing something I adore.
