I stumbled upon this artist originally watching the tail end of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. @genesisowusu was performing Gold Chains. I was intrigued by the performance, but the song only felt secondary in my head.
Next morning, the chorus of Gold Chains was stuck in my head. I went to YouTube to search for any uploads of the performance, which then introduced me to #GenesisOwusus larger catalogue.
I really enjoy his work. Some of it reminds me of Frank Ocean’s work on Orange. I loved that cd.
This is a song that is stuck in my musical moment in time.

I am old school and prefer to purchase a hard copy of my musical interests. I have tried to find a cd of Smiling with no teeth, but no luck. Looked at downloading, but I have Apple products which means I would need to get up and go over to my pc, and then hook up to my iPhone, blah, blah, blah…
