My wife doesn’t care for this much, but I love it. She doesn’t care for the randomness of the fine lines. She thinks they look amateurish. I was influenced here by the work of Diebenkorn. I purposely went after that kind of application of color. I am not trying to make the focus on any sort of geometric shapes. I did attempt to close all of the lines resuming in some end form. I feel it has a very Pacific vibe about it, which is why I love it so. I hung it up immediately.
