This is a painting comprised of three panel canvas.
I haven’t painted in a while so to get the rust off I asked my wife what colors to start with.
She recommended grey because I think both of us are going through seasonal affective disorder. As she left what I call my studio she added the suggestion of blue and yellow.
She gave the idea of something with a beach vibe to pull us out of the blues. I started with a navy stripe and sprayed it with water to diffuse the blue
I added the white stripe to reflect the breaking of the water.
I doused the two stripes while they were still wet with water to make them blend together. I completed it with coat of water based polyurethane. K. Bausman 2023
