For whatever reason, and I haven’t the slightest idea why, Bonnie Raitt’s music has been in my head.. It has been on constant rotation for at a least 2 weeks. I am one of those individuals that always has a tune in their head. Brushing my teeth in the morning, taking out the trash, or just walking, there is typically a song going on in my head. It’s is like my own production of brown noise I guess.
It’s not her whole catalog that is in my head, but 2 songs in particular. It started with “Nick of Time”
I have her “ Best of…” cd (yes I still keep and collect those), which then requires me to listen to other tracks after listening to “Nick of Time.” The next track that then got stuck in my head was “I Can’t Help You Now.” I think this is such an overlooked song in her catalog.
It also makes me think of this Amy Winehouse song.
