One of my earliest canvases. #abstractartwork #abstractpainting

I started paining in earnest about 15 years ago. Originally started on poster boards around 28×22 in size. My earliest canvases were not gallery size. I didn’t know the differences then.

This is one from an initial set of canvases that I received as a Xmas gift from my mother-in-law. She has always been a wonderful supporter of this side interest of mine.

I have never shown my paintings on these canvases in a public exhibit of my works. I have always seen them as somewhat unfinished without framing. Well, I have since bought an air compressor and nail gun to begin my own framing. This piece, I think I first completed in 2007. I framed it today and it’s going up in the house somewhere.
